We engage caregivers (loved ones and professionals) in an assessment to gauge the level and impact of the stress that they are experiencing. We use this information to develop a plan that can be used to offset the effects of stress.

Stress can lead to a host of negative outcomes! Caregivers are exposed to high levels of stress with little to no resources that they can use to aleviate the stress. Stress has the ability to lead to the following:

• Poor performing immune system
• Headaches
• Inflammation
• Insomnia
• Heart disease
• and a host of other diseases and health problems

• Memory loss and dementia
• Tips and tools for families
• Communicating with your loved one who is experiencing cognitive decline
• The impact of stress and management techniques
• Managing psychological and behavioral symptoms of dementia (including aggressive behaviors)

We assist individuals and their families with navigating the convoluted world of long-term care. Once we gain a full understanding of your needs, desires, and wants, we explore different options, visit those locations with you, help to formulate questions and understand what's being presented by the potential facility, and support you for up to 1 year while you live at the facility.

Through the use of an assessment tool, we identify your current cognitive abilities and discuss the findings with you. According to the findings, we make suggestions and support you as you consider differen options.

A you at risk for memory loss? Are you concerned about your memory? Have you experienced changes to your memory? If so, I might be able to help you to better understand what you're experiencing and develop a plan to help deter or slow your memory changes.

A concierge service where an older adult who is single or whose family lives out of town or have extenuating commitments that might prevent them for supporting their loved one as much as needed. A supportive and knowledgeable professional works to build a relationship wiht the older adult to become an extension to resources that they might other wise have difficulty accessing.

Reminiscence therapy is a treatment that uses all the senses sight, touch, taste, smell and sound to help individuals with dementia remember events, people and places from their past lives. As part of the therapy, care partners may use objects in various activities to help individuals with recall of memories.
